IGP, Côtes-du-Rhône, Tavel, Lirac… nos vins
Tavel is considered as the “King of rosé”, Lirac is a “Cru” (top Rhone Valley appellation) since 1947. Our vines grow on sandy and encrusted pebble in the very heart of these appellations.
The classification AOP Côtes du Rhône extends over 171 villages between Vienne and Avignon, on both banks of the Rhone river. 22 different grapes varietals car be used to produce wine. The most famous are Grenache (white or black), Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Clairette or Viognier. The vines grow on stony, round stone limestone soil. The maximum yield allowed is 51 hl per hectare.
The Indication Géographique Protégée (IGP) Gard is the former Vin de Pays du Gard appellation. It represents 50% of our total production. We offer a large range of wines: a Cabernet-Merlot blend or a 100% Chardonnay for example.
“L’Effet Mer” is the flagship product of our winery: it’s a rose de Provence styled wine. The vines grow on the IGP appellation area.
